Further to your application seeking public access under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 to documents related to the production of a video on a proposal for the Copyright Directive on Parliament's Twitter official account (
https://twitter.com/Europarl_DE/status/1100705082470027264), and in particular to internal correspondence, notes and instructions for the creation of the video, Parliament informs you of the following:
Parliament has signed a framework service contract with a Media Consortium for editorial and creative strategy services and content production concerning news (winner of the lot 2 of the public procurement for Parliament's Web video and multimedia services):

Under the umbrella of the above-mentioned framework service contract, specific products are gradually ordered in accordance with the priorities dictated by the parliamentary activity and the relevance of the different legislative files:

The production of the video at stake was decided in this context, taking into account the relevance of the copyright file. In this respect, Parliament has identified a planning table used by the competent services in which the copyright video is included. This document is attached to this email.
More in particular about the production of the video at stake, the contractor proposed a first version of the script for the copyright video. The relevant unit within Parliament carried out two reviews of such script and approved the second one. The two specific emails dealing with the first and second reviews have been identified by Parliament and are also provided to you as attachments to this email. Please note that names have been deleted pursuant to the EU legislation on personal data protection.
In order to provide you with a quicker reply to your request, this email has been drafted in English. Should you need a translation into German please let us know and we will provide it to you.
