Dear Mr << Antragsteller:in >>, In relation to the first part of your request, based on the description provided below, it is our understanding that you are seeking access to documents on "how much the procurement and the annual operation of the personalized automated biometric identification system (ABIS) of the company SopraSteria cost". Europol has assessed your request and has identified 5 documents as falling in the scope of this part of your request. As they are all public documents, please find them attached to this email. The first document, the published tender document on Tender Electronic Daily, provides information on the total amount of the procurement and is also available at the following address: https://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:440756-2016:TEXT:EN:HTML . The remaining four documents are the annual lists of contracts published by Europol for the years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, herewith attached, providing information on the annual operation costs related to the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for Europol provided by the company SopraSteria. Please note that the annual list of contracts for Europol in 2020 should be published in the upcoming months. The annual lists of contracts published by Europol are available on Europol’s website at the following address: In relation to the second part of your request, based on the description provided below, it is our understanding that you are seeking access to documents on "how many hits were obtained when the system was queried in 2018, 2019 and 2020. If possible, please also show the "wrong hits"". After an internal examination, we identify no document containing the information related to this part of your request below.
