Request for statistics - EDRi / GDPR Today
Dear Sir or Madam,
I work as a lawyer at Panoptykon Foundation (privacy watchdog based in Warsaw, Poland).
As a network of human rights NGOs united in European Digital Rights
Initiative (EDRi) we collect basic statistical data about the "life" and implementation of the GDPR. We publish data online at GDPRToday.org. The first issue of "GDPR Today" was released on October 25th during the International Conference of Data Protection Commissioners in Brussels. Meike Schuster from the federal DPA forwarded our request to you but we have not obtained any response. We are releasing the second issue in January during the CPDP conference in Brussels. Would it be possible for you to help us this time?
We would like to request statistical data for the period between *May 25th and November 25th* - please note that this date of reference is important because we want to compare data from many countries.
We are requesting:
1. the overall number of complaints,
2. the number of data breach notifications;
3. the number imposed fines (incl. their amounts);
4. the number of codes of conduct (both submitted and approved) as well as the industries to which they relate.
We would like to collect this data by January 18th. Is that a reasonable term for you?
"GDPR Today"targets data protection professionals, NGOs, influencers and
journalists, hopefully fueling more evidence-based debate on GDPR. In May 2019 we would like to issue more comprehensive report summarizing the first year of GDPR across EU.
I do hope that we will be able to collect relevant data also from Hamburg.
Would you be able and willing to help us obtain relevant data?
Thank you in advance for your help. In case of any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards,
Anfrage erfolgreich

is there a reason why the responds are not public available and could you make them public?
