"content": "SESSION TEMPLATE Basic Training for European Border and Coast Guard Standing Corps (Category 1) Module: MODULE 4: Border checks and return Chapter: BC&R 11 2.7 Return Session: BC&R 11/3 Return operations M1 S4(8 )C2.7.3 Session 5(8): Personal belongings and luggage (practice) Session 5: Return Operations (Practical) Session Aim: Upon successful completion the learner will be able to handle PERSONAL BELONGINGS/LUGGAGE HANDLING AND LABELLING Chapter/Subject Learning outcomes 2.7.3 12 Demonstrate appropriate team position and distance from the Return returnee in the context of return operations (S) Operations 2.7.3 13 Perform border guarding activities to support pre-departure Return procedures according to defined tasks and guidelines, ensuring Operations protection of dignity, safety and needs of vulnerable persons whilst upholding the principles of legality, necessity and proportionality Training environment and facilities: 1 Classroom or 1 Cell Training equipment: 20 individual standard issued equipment for Cat 1 (especially latex/tactical gloves, metal handcuffs and medical kit). 1 French body cuff, 1 velcro handcuff, 20 spit masks/medical masks, 20 vests 5-6 manual metal detectors Min. 10 standard transparent plastic bags 10 medium size pieces of luggage (max. 23 kg capacity) 20 pieces of luggage labels 10 flags for destination country 1 10 flags for destination country 2 Scenic props for personal belongings, such as: o Replicas of money o Replicas of phones o Replicas of passports/ID/emergency travel documents o Replicas of medicine/pills o Watches, glasses o Wallets o Bottle for liquid baby food o Cigarettes and lighters o Plastic pistols or swords (toys) o Possible dangerous items, such as: knives, hair pins etc. Planned max. number of Planned min. number of trainers and their specific learners expertise: 20 learners 2 FRONTEX EL or Multiplier Trainer needs",
