Warsaw, 24 February Dear Sir/Madam, Based on the signed Working Arrangement, I would like to invite you to participate in the Joint Operation Focal Points Air 2017 - Intermediate Managers by deploying a Nigerian officer (intermediate manager) from one of your main international airports to a EU or Schengen Assodated Country airport. The operational concept of the Joint Operation Focal Points Air 2017 - Intermediate Managers is to enhance the Integrated Border Management at organisational and managerial level. Therefore this type of deployment will be seen as a mutual sharing of experience, knowledge and best practices with the same counterparts/local managers at respective hosting airport. With the term \"intermediate manager\" Frontex refers to all border guards who are working at an airport in a position which is higher than the first commanding level but lower than a Head and a Deputy Head of an airport. Ncre description about the operational concept of Joint Operation Focal Points Air 2017 - Intermediate Managers are provided in the Annex 1. In you are interested to deploy your officers to an European Union/Schengen Associated Country airport (Annex 4), we kindly ask you to submit: The deployment proposal template (Annex 2). The Curriculum Vitae of the officer with the focus only on working experiences. The filled in accreditation form for deployed officers (Annex 3). The copy of biodata page of officer's passport in order to obtain the airport access badge. lt is essential that your officer belongs to border guards, otherwise it will be not possible to deploy him/her. The deployment period is feasible starting from 25 April 2017 until the end of the year 2017. The length of the deployment ranges between 10 and 21 working days (weekends excluded). Please, note your officer shall attend an operational briefing organised and led by Frontex prior to the deployment.
