Information/allegations On 02.02.2019 at 10:58 hr the Regional IBM and Migration Center in Orestiada were informed by phone from the Common Contact Center in Kapitan Andreevo about a group of migrants (15) in need of help as trapped in a piece of land on Evros river area, Text removed - Justification 3. Measures Search and rescue team from Special Team of Police Directorate of Orestiada organized search operation for rescuing migrants. Means used: service boats - thermal imaging cameras. At about 12;30 rescue team located a group of only eight (08) migrants and started rescue operation . All migrant are in good condition and have been transferred to Text removed- Justification 2 Didymoteicho. According to survivors statement, four (04) migrants are still missing. Two service boats remained in the are in order to find them. Initial investigation has been opened Text removed- Justification 2. Assessment Final outcome After several days of search operations in Evros river, no bodies were found.

Informati on/ allegati ons On 18.03.2019 at 01 .30 HP Officers, who were patrolling in the operational area of Text removed - Justification 2, detectd a dead body (female), age 46, AFG national who was accompained by her nephew, age 16, AFG national as well. Measures Dead body has been transferred to Alexandroupoli hospital. The autopsy has been requested by Hellenic Police in order to identify the reason of the death. Text removed - Justification 2 Assessment NTR Final outcome According to the result of the autopsy, the death was caused by pathological reason (liver problems). The nephew of the dead person has been already transported to Fylakio RIC.

Information / allegations On 26-03-2019 at 09.40 HP Officers Text Removed - Justification 2, who were patrolling in the operational area Text Removed - Justification 2 detected a dead body (male) , aged between 30-40 in Evros river close to the bank. No travel documents have been found . Measures Dead body was taken out of the river at 10.50 and has been transferred to Alexandroupolis' Hospital. The autopsy has been requested by Hellenic Police in order to identify the reason of death. The results of the autopsy will be available in the follow-up SIR. Assessment Final outcome
