sighted a white rubber boat in distress in the Libyan Search and Rescue Region

The boat was carrying approximately 100 migrants on board and was
overcrowded and partially deflated.
Some migrants were in the water, hanging on the boat and debris were scattered
around.

informed the relevant authorities.

spotted an overcrowded rubber boat with about 90 migrants on board sailing
North at slow speed (1.5 kts) within the Libyan Search and Rescue Region. The
boat with more than 100 people on board was still close to the Libyan shore
