I am pleased to share the below invitation with you to our upcoming webinar titled "Tackling child labour in cocoa through a due diligence approach: how can an EU legal framework scale-up positive impact?". The webinar will take place on 8 June between 14:00-15:00 CEST. Below you can find the agenda and list of speakers from Nestlé, the International Cocoa Initiative and the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights. As you are aware, as Nestlé we have been very vocal in our support for mandatory due diligence legislation at EU level. This webinar offers a valuable space for discussion based on our concrete experience on the ground in applying a voluntary human rights due diligence Sustainable Corporate Governance Initiative. Last week, together with other cocoa and chocolate manufacturers, we published a joint letter asking for momentum to be kept on the adoption of a legislative proposal. We would be pleased if you or one of your team members would register and join the discussion next week. Should this not be possible, we will make sure to follow-up with you with the recording and presentation slides. Should you have any questions, please let me know. I look forward to keeping in touch with you on the legislative proposal in the coming months and continuing to provide our experiences and perspectives to shape an impactful EU legislation.
