- The Common Vulnerability Assessment Methodology (CVAM) which was adopted in the Management Board decision 30/2019 of 17 December 2019 and is set out in the annex to that decision. - The CVAM which was adopted in the Management Board decision 34/2018 of 6 November 2018 and is set out in the annex to that decision. - All handbooks concerning the abovementioned versions of the CVAM. - All handbooks concerning the implementation of the Vulnerability Assessment procedure in general. please be informed that access to the requested documents must be refused pursuant to Article 4(1) first indent of Regulation (EC) No 1049/20011 as their disclosure would undermine the protection of the public interest as regards public security. More specifically, the Vulnerability Assessment evaluates the capacity of the Member States to face upcoming challenges, including present and future threats and challenges at the external borders. It takes into account their border management tasks, including their capacity to deal with the potential arrival of large numbers of persons on their territory, and concerns topics such the availability of technical equipment, systems, capabilities, resources, infrastructure, adequately trained and skilled staff in the Member States necessary for border control. Hence, disclosing the two revisions of the Common Vulnerability Assessment Methodology and related handbooks, would, with ascertainable likelihood, seriously jeopardise the effective control and surveillance of the external borders of the EU and the fight against cross-border crime.
