The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, EUNAVFOR MED Operation SOPHIA and the Libyan Navy and Coast Guard, together referred as the "Participants" have agreed on ADDITIONAL AGREEMENT II TO TECHNICAL ARMNGEMENT BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, EUNAVFOR MED OPERATION SOPHIA AND THE LIBYAN NAVY AND COAST GUARD REGARDIT{G THE CROATIAN CONTRIBUTION TO THE TRAINING PACKAGE 2 OF THE LIBYAN NAVY AND COAST GUARD PERSONNEL BY EUNAVFOR MED OPERATION SOPHIA IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA 1. The Participants have signed Technical Arrangement regarding the Croatian contribution to the Training package 2 of the Libyan Navy and Coast Guard personnel by EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA in the Republic of Croatia (hereinafter "TA") on 11 December 2018. 2. The Decision of the Council of the European Union 20191535 of 29 March 2019 extended the mandate of EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA until 30 September 2A19. 3. The Participants have decided to implement a third Basic Ship's Divers Course in the Republic of Croatia between 17 June and 19 July 2019, for a maximum of 10 Libyan Navy and Coast Guard personnel. The dates of beginning and end of the course can be adjusted, as necessary, based on understanding by the Participants. The Training course program will be run in accordance with Annex B of the TA. 4, The Participants have decided to implement a first Advanced Ship's Divers Course in the Republic of Croatia between 26 August and 27 September 2019, for a maximum of 11 Libyan Navy and Coast Guard personnel. The dates of beginning and end of the course can be adjusted, as necessary, based on understanding by the Participants. The Training course program will be ruh in accordance with the Annex of this Additional Agreement. 5. The third Basic Ship's Divers Course and first Advanced Ship's Divers Course in the Republic of Croatia will be implemented in accordance with the terms and provisions of the TA and of this Additional Agreement. 6, This:Additional Agreement will enter into effect on the date of the last signature. ANNEX - ADVANCED SHIP'S DIVERS COURSE 1. AIM The aim of this Annex is to define the specifications of the six (6) training modules accepted by the LN/CG regarding the topics included in the Advanced Ship's Divers Course. 2. PROGRAMME a) The modules have been designed to train initialty up to 11 Libyan Trainees in each one of the below mentioned topics. b) Responsibility for conducting the TP2 lies with ENFM and the Host Nation who will designate the authority to execute it and inform about the implementation the ENFM. c) The duration of the planned modules is 5 weeks and if reguired by training purposes one additional week. The cycle training may be repeated if previously decided by the Participants. d) Trainees will take a test for each module at the end of the training. A trainee will receive Certificate only after successfully passing all nine modules. e) The programme could be subject to modifications, as necessary, based on understanding by the Participants. 3. TRAINING MODULES MAIN TOPICS The modules content will be as follows: a) MODULE 1. Diving Medicine b) MODULE 2. Diving Regulations c) MODULE 3. Seamanship d) MODULE 4. Diving equipment and gear e) MODULE 5. Working Dives - diving up to 50 metres 0 MODUI-E 6. Diving procedures ln addition, a final exarn will be conducted. s) ADDITIONAL TEACHING An additional training will be provided by ENFM and external instructors (UNHCR, RAVA Foundation, etc.) during the course and on the following issues: r Gender Mainstreaming - Advanced .
