Dear Ms << Adresse entfernt >>: I come back to you concerning your kind request to the EMCDDA, dated on 03 May last, under the right of Access to documents as foreseen by Regulation 1049/2001, which was registered under internal EMCDDA number, Adonis 192094). As already indicated in my previous message, I am delighted, also in the name of the entire EMCDDA, to provide now to you all the documents and information requested. As such, I enclose hereafter attached copies of the following documents: - DEC/DIR/2018/001, fixing the internal process and actors for the handling of applications for access to documents held by the EMCDDA (Annex 01); - 2018 Annual report on public requests to access to the EMCDDA documents (Annex 02) - DEC/DIR-HR/2019/012, on the reassignment of Mr Ignacio Vázquez Moliní (Annex 03); Concerning your other question on the number of initial access to documents applications received and the numbers of confirmatory applications, the data are as follow: - Year 2016: none requests received; - Year 2017: 2 requests received and 2 positive answers given; - Year 2018: 3 requests received and 3 positive answers given. Concerning 2018, please note that in the Annual report only 2 requests are mentioned. This is due to the fact that the mandate of the Coordinator of the public access to the EMCDDA documents was appointed on 26 January, 2018, while the third request was received some days before this appointment. Finally, please note that no specific budgetary line for this activity is foreseen by the EMCDDA budget. Also note that the Coordinator of the public access to EMCDDA documents is currently working part-time and responsible for two more EMCDDA activities, at REITOX Unit and at the Directorate.
