Please be informed that the mandate of EASO is to assist EU Member States with the implementation of the Common European Asylum System and to provide support to Member States facing disproportionate pressure on their asylum and reception systems. Currently, EASO has operations in Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta.
EASO has no direct or indirect powers in relation to the taking of decisions by the Member Sates' asylum authorities on individual applications for international protection.
