Data Retention – ‘Going dark’

Dear Sir or Madam,

With regard to the following two meetings, please send me the relevant documents as described below:

· 26–27 January 2023: Informal meeting of justice and home affairs ministers – Afternoon working session on the fight against organised crime in the digital era - ‘Going dark’ [1]

· 22 February 2023: Meeting of the Standing Committee on Operational Cooperation on Internal Security (COSI) – Meeting n°326625 Europa – Exchange of views: Going dark: access to data for judicial and law enforcement purposes – the way forward [2]

All types of documents, in particular, but not limited to: presentations, work papers, notes, emails, drafts, summaries, answers and announcements of dates for further meetings related to the subjects of the topics of the retention of communication records (data retention, quick freeze) and to the access to that data.
