I would like to ask Europol to reconsider its response for the following reasons: As I indicated in my initial request, the information my request relates to (the “senders” of the 18,203 messages Europol EMSC received on facilitated illegal immigration and migrant smuggling through SIENA; as well as the countries and/or locations of each of the 3,931 “new cases” of facilitated illegal immigration and migrant smuggling, also received through SIENA) must be held by Europol. This is due to the fact that Europol itself has made reference to this information in its own report (please see page 7, here: https://www.europol.europa.eu/publications-documents/european-migrant-smuggling-centre-5th-annual-report-–-2021) Unless Europol has deleted this information - which is unlikely - it currently must be held in a Europol document that would therefore fall under the scope of my request. I would like to therefore ask Europol to reconsider its response of 19 November, and conduct another search for the documents (including datasets) I requested on 9 November, containing the aforementioned information.
